i sounded rude to anyone on the 'relive your preteen-hood' part in the previous previous entry okay? i didn't mean it.
it's just like, relive your childhood kinda thing. nothing supposed to be offensive. maybe i'm just not too good with words. :)
okay on a lighter note, i just caught Curse Of The Golden Flower. what golden flower? oh it's the chrysanthemum people use to make tea or offer to the dead.
boring movie, at least to me. audiences laugh at parts which were supposed to be sad. like when Jay Chou witnesses his mom (Gong Li) drink up that poison, a guy actually guffawed loudly.
Jay Chou was..cross-eyed. sheesh.
other than that, it was brutal, revealing and scandalous.
the empress having an affair with the crown prince? all ladies in the palace wear push-ups. i bet if they jump, their nipples will say HELLO.
the ending was ironic. after so much the empress and her son had done to overthrow the king, all efforts were futile. and it's back to square one. just that muchmuch more people died.
not worth watching yet. go catch it on a rented dvd when it comes out or something.
