Question:With the understanding that you have obtained with regards to sunk costs today, are there “sunk costs” in your life? What is your attitude towards such “sunk costs”? List down at least one example to illustrate your point.

Response:
“In economics and in business decision-making, sunk
costs are costs that have been incurred and which cannot
be recovered to any significant degree.” -

In my life, family and friends is the most important
people. Some of my friends have been with me for at
least 7 years; so much so that they have become a part
of my family too.

And people tend to take their loved ones for granted.

A year ago, I had a quarrel with a person who was once,
one of my closest friends. We were so convinced to make
each other see our point, that we forgot how lethal
words can get. Neither of us gave in, neither of us were
willing to swallow our pride. And so the friendship gave
way.

I am sure now, a year later, a simple issue like that
would be deemed silly to be the subject of a wrangle.
But till today, she and I still aren’t talking. It was
those words that incurred our wrath, a friendship
sacrificed for pride, and like a broken mirror, it
cannot be recovered to any significant degree.

this person has never existed of course LOL
