A beautiful day.

lied to gav that i was out with my family on sunday afternoon, and got my ass down to plaza singapura and ikea for the materials for his present.

they sell really amazing (AND expensive) stuff in this shop, and some can be found cheaper in Spotlight. great alternative. :)

ikea, needless to say, had cheap stuff. got a rather large black frame for his present, and 2 other white ones for photographs of....well i'm still thinking.
tuesday, he and i went for a little shopping in IMM's Giant. for some pizza crusts and fellow friends.

so on that beautiful wednesday, he turned 21. a REAL adult now, but i hate him cus we can't watch R21 movies together still.

but still, we make delicious pizza together!

(i kinda forgot to take pictures of the banana but muffins i baked the night before. it was so, so good.)

Mmmm that smokey ham and mushrooms beneath the cheese..

gavin reckons cheese looks like blackheads when you squeeze them out. YUCKS. PLEASE DON'T RUIN MY APPETITE.

SEE IT MELT! haha was too excited about the final product to bother taking pictures. it tasted like heaven anyways. a much cheaper (& tastier in my opinion) alternative! my brother had to ask for a slice. in the end, he ate 3. -_-
and then for his birthday dinner, we headed down to..

SUSHI TEI!

we were kinda lucky, because the restaurant was full and we were initially offered counter seats when i was still queuing. turns out we got a table with a view! :)

the generous birthday man. HAHA
"order anything you want!"
the sea urchin was the first to go. 10-freakin-bucks for 2 pieces of sushi. well of course we ate that first right! but it wasn't really that good. nothing to get excited about. except for the price LOL.
sashimi: yellow tail, salmon, fresh scallops with cucumbers

BELI GUD.
but i heard my stomach thundering back at home after the dinner. not hungry kinda thundering, but creating gas kind of thundering. should have listened to my mom. i hate my weak stomach. ):

oh so since we were in vivo right, i couldn't miss out candy empire!!

i spent a good..i don't know, 15 mins deciding what i wanted? then i settled for the 'pick-n-mix' section.

so here's a strawberry and a smurf.
i also have a colourful snake. but i'll save that for the last :D

formatted my laptop a while back, so i had to live without photoshop. yes yes, girls are so vain yada yada. but hey, check out the wonders!

here's me looking thin.
and here's me looking starved. LOL

but i have fluffier hair!

oh well (in good ol' joyce's way), will update again soon!
