Don't need a preacher.

heard tapping on the door while washing up today, and went to check out who was at the door. biggest mistake of my morning. an old preacher standing at my gate. no offense to the religion itself, but i really don't appreciate the effort. i told him i was an atheist, but he went on about the universe and the first couple on earth and i wished i had told him that i was a muslim or buddhist or something.

"ever wondered who created the first couple? who's out there, creating the universe the way it is?"

i replied, "i believe in charles darwin. and i don't mean to be rude, but i really don't believe that there's a being up there who's controlling everything. charles darwin just sounds more credible to me."

"nehh.. (starts making some weird noises) i don't believe in the charles darwin nonsense..and don't you think there's a reason why you're standing here?"

"er ya, because of my parents? i believe in science. i have plenty of friends and relatives who are christians, but i'm not. we each have our own beliefs and i chose to believe what i deem to be true."

"then you need to be enlightened, and taught! ever wondered what you are in school for? it is to form who you will be in future!"

i was starting to feel angry at "enlightened".

"i go to school to learn science."

THEN MY DAD CAME HOME. GOD BLESS. oops wrong choice of words.

"JIA YING! you better go study for your exam now!"

"eryasir, ineedtoprepareforclassalreadybye."

okay the point of this entry is not to show how anti-christian i am, but i need to let ppl know that we need to have the right to believe in what is right, and what we believe to be true. it's a bloody right. i won't mess with your religion, you don't mess with my mind. period.
