joyce and i headed over to my club for a dip. it was cloudy, but so freakin' warm!
16th May
gavin and i decided to try out the much raved about Astons, and i suffered great disappointments.
it sucked.
the sauce sucked, the veg was tasteless, 7-Eleven's mashed potato was better than theirs, and my prime tenderloin was so little!
i'm a girl who loves my meat (like daniel), and i almost cried when i saw my steak in its measly proportions. it was like only having morsels. they could do so much better.
afterwards, joyce and i were craving for some good ice cream, and decided to try out harpreet's favourite ice cream place--Cold Rock Ice Creamery, at holland village. no offence to cold rock lovers, but it was unanimously agreed that it tasted like King's ice cream. i'd take my ben & jerry's any time. :) i had rum & raisin with waffle bits, btw.
discontented with such quality of my food for the day, i had to have more. it was a very fucked up feeling to have food enter your tummy without satisfaction. so we all shared oyster omelette and white carrot cake. AGAIN, IT SUCKED.
